Test out historical recipes by rival baking powder companies
Our Ephemera Collection includes all kinds of post cards, souvenirs, and cook books from many eras. Student volunteer, Katie Opauski, has chosen five recipes (ten total) that are VERY different in each decade. Pick up a recipe book in person after August 1st (or download it here), Follow our event on Facebook for video how-tos, and to share your brave attempts (facebook event linked below).

Civics Day 2024 (May 11 1-3pm at the Sykesville Town House): Citizenship in the Community (Boy Scouts), and Celebrating Community (Girl Scouts) work will be available.
